The building has been planned for units and services and created to host 120 elderly people in need of assistance at different levels in rooms with two beds.
The reception, the church, the rehabilitation areas, the kitchen, the coffee bar, personnel changing rooms, the morgue, physiotherapy and gym , leisure , surgeries, storehouses and administrative offices are all located on the ground floor.
The residential units located on the first and second floors are provided with all the required zones, rooms and services according to government standards. The assisted bathrooms use the latest ultrasound baths for the best sanitation of the person and provide lifting systems to make the movement of guests easier. All the rooms are air-conditioned, soundproofed, provided with a bathroom, medical gases, television, call and control systems, Wi-Fi to guarantee direct dialogue via video call between a relative who is in a different place and the guest who lives in the room. Warden controlled rooms and personnel coordination units are arranged with technology which consents the constant monitoring of guests’ needs via iPads, tablets and loudspeaker phones whereby dialogue at a distance with the guest is possible. There is also the presence of bathrooms reserved for relatives and visitors.
